THEME: Patriots & Saints - Living For Christ With Passion In Both Play & Prayer

Have you ever felt that in order to live out a passionate faith it has to be done without fun? We invite you to come and dig in to John 10 and learn about the “abundant life” that speaks about the honor and duty to live for your faith with a deeper sense of joy and devotion. You can live out your faith and still have fun! Our hope is to come through the weekend with an understanding of your call as a man of God and learn to enjoy God and be enjoyed by God.

Join us for this special men’s weekend to hear from God, fellowship with others, enjoy some great food and have a blast with some fun activities! We can’t wait to see you!

Dr. John V. Megyesi has served as the Senior Pastor & Lead Follower of the Lowell (MA) First Church of the Nazarene since 2007. John has been active in the New England District Church of the Nazarene (a larger collection of Nazarene churches) as a member of the District Advisory Board and the Chair of the District’s Board of Ministry, their credentials body. Beginning his first pastoral assignment in 1993 in Owego, NY (later serving in spiritual development at Mount Vernon Nazarene University; then pastoring in Shawnee, KS; and before coming to Lowell, pastoring in Akron, OH), John has counted it a privilege to see, hear & encourage the mission of Christ among the church. Believing this to be true inside the Church Community as well as the church’s local community. Dr. Megyesi has also served as an Interfaith Chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital (Nashua, NH), on the board of the Greater Boston Nazarene Compassion Center (Mattapan, MA), on the Institutional (Ethics) Review Board of the St. Joseph Hospital (Nashua, NH), and on the board of the Lowell, MA “Ministry-At-Large” charitable foundation. Pastor John and his wife, Melanie have three young adult sons, Brendan (one of the other pastors on his team!), Liam and Riley...and oh yeah, we can't forget their other son, or rather their beagle/coonhound, Henley!

Registration begins at 7:00 pm on Friday. The retreat will dismiss at 2 pm on Sunday, after lunch.
